Due to its beautiful underwater topography and quantity of marine life, Reqqa Point is undoubtedly the most popular dive on Gozo’s north coast. It is a little pointed headland located just beneath the settlement of Żebbug, west of the well-known Xwejni salt pans. The prevailing North Westerly winds sometimes cause heavy seas at this diving location, but when it is able to dive there, it offers something for all levels of divers. Some of the qualities that make this spot one of Malta’s top dive sites include a magnificent reef bursting with life, big boulders, a submerged chimney or two, a vertical drop-down, and rich marine life.
