Patron and Founder of Chef Ryan were introduced to cooking at a young age while working alongside his father in the kitchen of his father’s restaurant. In 2006, he went to London to complete an ITS course.

After a year abroad working at the Hilton Heathrow Hotel, he decided to look for a bigger objection to working at one of the UK’s most famous chefs, Gordon Ramsay, who began as a Commis Chef in his Michelin Star restaurant. Ryan never gave up because he wanted to learn and understand more about the kitchen.

Coming Back to Malta in 2009 started experiencing 5 Stars Hotels such as Hilton, Westin Dragonara & Excelsior between 2009 – 2015. Then in 2016, he worked in a fine dining restaurant as a Chef Tournant at the Artiglio located in Valletta. Then, the year after, in 2017 took over Crust as a Head Chef. In 2019 an opportunity came to be running StrEat Whisky Bistro in Valletta started the first 3 months as a head Chef, and then he ran the Restaurant as a General Manager.
