HMS Maori
The H.M.S. Maori was involved in the sinking of the Bismarck, one of the German Empire’s most feared ships. The wreck is located a few hundred meters offshore in Valletta’s St. Elmo Bay. The Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand. The majority of the Maori population lives beneath the sand. The superstructure and forward deck are still visible. A dive on the Maori can easily be paired with a dive on the reef at Fort St Elmo.
