A little square rock marks the diving area at the extremity of the Delimara peninsula, past Marsaxlokk. At a depth of 9 meters, an underwater reef begins and steadily descends to 12 meters, where a vertical cliff lowers to 25 meters. There’s also a cave and a vertical tunnel that leads back to the reef’s top. Several huge rocks litter the bottom.
There are elusive groupers among these. In addition to this, stingrays and other fish and marine life can frequently be observed on the exposed sand seabed. Although this location may be reached by foot, we recommend taking a boat to save the long hike. In Northwest winds, Delimara Point is a suitable choice because it is well protected at the time.
