The crocodile-shaped rock is located between Dwejra Point and Fungus Rock, just offshore. It’s accessible by boat or on foot from the rocky shore. A square shute pointing into the more bottomless sea, showing a high cliff, may be found to the west of the rock, to the left of the rock. The cliff drops vertically to 38 meters, with stones covering the seabed. Groupers and Salema shoals can be found in this location.
The Coral Cave can be reached by keeping the cliff wall to the right. At a depth of roughly 22 meters, this is a massive semi-circular aperture that spans 20 meters across the sandy floor. Using a torch, one can see many species of coral sponges, virgin lace, and the highly uncommon marine goldfish within the cave.
