City Of London Bar

My name is Guliano Borg the grandson of the founder Karmnu Borg. I will turn 80 years in a couple of months time and so far I cannot name my successor. It’s been an exciting, colourful journey running The City of London Bar. When I took over the bar in 1977 I decided not the make changes except a few. The old character of an English pub always appealed to me. Being Malta had a more or less warm climate, an alfresco bar was on my mind. A Government application for tables and chairs on the terrace was accepted. It was the best move I ever did. I never stop promoting ‘The City’ as is known. The bar continue to prosper and I wish the 4th generation person to enjoy a wonderful ride.
