Are you looking to have some fun? Then you are on the right website because Maltize can recommend some of the most incredible places to dance the night away. Make sure you book your transport when you arrive in Malta to take to your hotel or any other accommodation of your choice. You can also find beauty spas, day spas, barbers, tattoo parlours, and many others on our website.

I started my career with Malta’s largest company in the telecommunication industry, the first company in Malta to offer quad-play (mobile, fixed-line, internet and TV). When I started to work with this company, it was still a startup company. Today this company has over 500,000 customers.

After 15+ years of working with this company, I have acquired a lot of experience in Sales (Retail/Telesales inbound and outbound), Customer Care and finally, Marketing. I was ready to move to the next level. I learned to amalgamate these three services to serve better all the companies I worked for in the past. I decided to create Maltize because I love Malta and all that is Maltese. I love my work and this industry because I like the people I meet.

About Our Website

When I created this website, I wanted to make the website used by everyone, so I  wanted to create a user-friendly site. Since I worked for a long time in the telecoms industry, the first thing that came to mind was the Nokia 3310.  The Nokia 3310 was released in 2000 and instantly became a hit among all generations. The older generation is starting to use mobile phones for the first time. This device had a minimalist screen setup. Therefore, it was easy because users didn’t have to remember complicated routes through menus. I hope I managed to imitate this on my website.  Should you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send us your feedback because you are the people that will be using it.

My dream is to make the web look like a better place. Hopefully, we will cross paths in real life in the future, making it a better place altogether. Let’s Grow Our Business Together! List your Business with us.

The Maltese Flag

Malta has a basic bi-coloured flag which consists of two equal bands of white on the hoist side and red on the fly. These two colours are believed to originate from the flag of the Knights of Malta, which have the same colours. A white cross on a red background.  Today this version has been adopted as Malta’s maritime flag and is a common sight around the Maltese islands and also, and around the world on large vessels. Malta has the most ship registered under its flag in Europe and the 6th largest in the world (2019)  This cross is being referred to it as ‘Is-Salib ta’ Malta’ (The Maltese Cross).

The George Cross

The George Cross originally appeared on the Maltese flag placed on a blue canton in 1943. On 21st September 1964, (Independence Day). The flag changed once again when the blue canton was replaced by a red fimbriation, to give the George Cross less importance. The George Cross was incorporated into the flag of Malta and remains on the current design of the flag.  The cross was to be awarded “for acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger” in the early part of World War II

The George cross represents the bravery of the Maltese people defending their country.

About Malta & Gozo

Malta and Gozo are situated in the middle of the Mediterranean, just 160 Kilometres off the coast of Sicily, Malta is the smallest country in the European Union. But it offers far more than its tiny size would suggest: spectacular centuries-old towns with every modern convenience, a wealth of year-round cultural activities and attractions, a large international community, and an affordable, laidback lifestyle. Best of all, despite having the atmosphere of continental Europe, the island is mainly English-speaking.

Malta enjoys 300 days of sunshine. Dull weather is not so typical, and winter temperatures rarely fall below 10 degrees Celsius during the day. Malta’s climate is typically the Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. The crystal clear blue sea around the Maltese Islands is undoubtedly one of the highlights.  Malta and Gozo are among the top diving destinations in the world.  In Malta and Gozo, you will find several picturesque beaches with golden sands and azure waters.

For those who wish to live in Europe, Malta is the ideal country. If you are studying in Malta, you can travel freely to the other 26 European counties (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden) at cheap prices. Malta is known to be one of the safest countries in the world. Its inhabitants and residents are very friendly and respectful. Malta is a great place to visit all year round.

A Message to the Locals

We suggest to you all that at least one week in a year you experience the feeling of being a tourist in your own country. We are always want to explore other countries, but unfortunately, sometimes we forget to explore our homeland. We all love to travel, and that’s fine, but please don’t take Malta for granted. Malta has a long history and was first inhabited in around 5900 BC. We have a beautiful country, and we should all be proud of it.
